Modern style text

In this tutorial I will show you how you can create nice modern text effect. First, create a new file, CTRL+N, and set the size for it, for example – 650 pixels of width and 450 pixels of height. Select the text tool by pressing the “T” key and write some text. I set the following font: Trebuchet MS. Now, select the text and select the background option and click the fill options button. See the picture below.



When you click the “Fill Options” button, you’ll see some more options and you pick the “Gradient” option, just like on the picture below.



When you selected the “Gradient” option, you’ll see some more options and you pick the “Linear” option. (The picture below)



After you selected those options, select the text you wrote and set the linear effect the way it’s on the picture below.



Now, click the text background icon (on the properties toolbar) again and you’ll see something like on the picture below. Set the colors like on the picture below.



That was the final step. Your new and modern style text is over. To combine colors the way you like.
